Celebrate Adam and Liz
OUR LOVE STORY
Strangers that happened to share a lunch table in high school and quickly became close friends, even though they didn’t learn each other’s names until the following school year. Adam loved computers, Liz loved science and books, and although feelings quietly grew between them, life carried them in different directions after graduation.
They went to separate colleges, missed their chance to reconnect, and eventually built their own careers: Adam as a musician and later a software developer, Liz as a game‑development artist. They moved in and out of Charlotte at different times, always just missing each other.
In 2022, Liz returned to the area and reconnected with Adam through Facebook. Their reunion turned into a slow‑growing, deeply grounded relationship that matured alongside new jobs, new stability, and eventually a proposal.
